Warning*** this is long!!!
I have so much to say, since I've let so much time pass!
I know it's late, but to all my friends and family happy Mother's Day.
What a wonderful day. I was filled with words of wisdom and truth while at church and at home I was filled with love and reassurance. It was a good day and my bucket was filled. Thanks to my kiddies that love me so energetically and thanks to my husband that loves me so tenderly.
I am excited to use my gift certificate at Fleet Feet. I've had my current running shoes longer than I can remember... really, I don't remember when I purchased them. I think it's been around 10 years! I should really have some sort of injury from wearing such run out shoes! I can't wait to get measured and feel some new comfy shoes under my feet! Speaking of running I took my two boys out with me yesterday. It feels good to be out again!
My week with my sister and her family was so great. We loved having them here! We didn't do anything too exciting, but just being with them was fabulous. We did get to go shopping, something my sis doesn't like to do very much, and we loved it! We hit the jackpot at Children's Place and bought matching things so we could take photos of our kids! When we hugged the night before she left we were about to let go and I asked her to hug me just a little longer. What a sweet and dear friend my sister is. I really do miss being so close... in location... to her.
Owen had his one month dr visit on Monday. He is growing so much! He now weighs 10lbs. and has grown a whole inch! He is smiling and catching gazes more. We love him!
Q had her K screening last week and did so well! Q kept surprising the teacher with certain skills and the teacher kept saying Q should be the teacher! With Q being my first one to go to school I had some concerns, we all do. They were very reassuring. Q also had some concerns and seems to be less anxious and more excited about going to K. I am impressed with the school and the system and am mostly excited for little Q. I think she will LOVE school.
G is the man, currently obsessed with Telitubbies!??? He found an old video and watched it and it's his 'thing' right now. He has a one track mind. While Cand was out here she cooked for me... thanks a million, that was so great... and she showed me how to hide certain foods that are pureed. I have been mixing chicken and squash with G's peanut butter (pb&j) and he can't tell the difference. I feel less guilty about his small menu if I can get some veggies and meat in there! I will continue to do this for him. Thanks again sis!
My current project is painting a hutch I got from Paige. It was green and I'm painting it black. I am almost finished with it and it is looking fab! Can't wait to put it in my kitchen.
Matt started his new (temporary) assignment as branch manager. They gave him the best and top producing branch for his little stint! He has big shoes to fill! These first few days have gone well. He is back to having quick, busy days, instead of long boring ones!!! He finished his project in 'debt consolidation' and was very successful with it. I am excited for this change and new experience. I did a LO and still need to take a pict of Matt. As I was looking for a pict I realized I don't take near enough photos of him!
