Where does the time go?

We had a field trip today for Q's school. We went to the planetarium. I thought G would love it so I brought him along too. It ended up being quite the adventure. I guess both of my boys are afraid of the dark because they both started having problems when the lights went down! G kept asking where everyone went! He felt like the room was moving and wanted to leave! Fortunately I was surrounded by friends! Amy let G sit on her lap and Ava's mom Sue helped with O. I kept dropping O's binky, which isn't so good in a room with no light!!! We made it through, and I don't know that the kids were impressed. They have learned more from their daddy taking them outside and showing them the stars. But, the cheesy show was fine for the middle of the school day!

The home improvements continue! This weekend we went to pick out cabinets and counter tops for our kitchen. We bought new appliances too. I wasn't all that excited before, but I sure am now. I may even be able to make it through the three weeks of renovation! Today I started re staining our deck. It is looking much nicer. I can't wait to get it finished so we can get new furniture and flowers and much love out there! (BTW Cand, it wasn't paint on there... it was stain! Oh well!)

I had two photo shoots this weekend. I started looking through them today and this photo just makes me chuckle! It is one of my favs! I'm sure as a mom you want all of your kids looking at the camera... those may be your favs. As a photographer, though, this photo just makes me happy!
