A whole month of crazy!
That is what January was!
The first two weeks Matt was out of commission with his injured leg. He was on crutches and in a boot. He couldn't walk and stand, which made picking up kids and doing things around the house impossible. It even made the nightly bathroom trip unbearable... enter gatorade bottle!
The worst part of his injury was it was really getting to Matt and he was so frustrated.
I was commissioned to make cheerleading bows for Williamsville North High School. A whoppin' 50 of them. It was a rush order, they needed them by the 24th. Much of that second week was spent running around looking for ribbon, deciding on a style, waiting for ribbon, returning ribbon, ordering ribbon... blah blah!
The third week I spent a few days in UT because my BIL Eric passed away. I wasn't super close to him, but it was tough watching my sister go through that. I was so glad to be there and spend time with her, as well as the rest of my family. I spent time with each of my siblings and really loved it. I got to spend a couple of hours with Lynette and also went to lunch with Damita. It has been so long since I've been with my family. It really was refreshing and delightful. Love them.
I came home and the next day Candice, my other sister, came to my house to see me! It was so great to not have to really say goodbye in UT! She stayed until this past Thursday. We had a great time together, so did the kids. We shopped a little, took the kids to a bounce house, made jewelry, talked, she had a friend visit from PA, laughed a bunch and watched our kids love being together. It was a great visit.
So, after watching the C's kids for a bit on Thursday, I was ready to get this house back in order. I'm still working on it, but I'm thinking my life will be back to normal soon!
