This is why...
I want to go back and write, but I've already forgotten!
This is why I need to try harder, even if it's small, it needs to be frequent, so I don't forget.
I put this together...
little snips of our Labor Day. We met Olga and the two girls and went to the Clarence Center parade and fair. It seemed to us a parade of fire trucks! We were there right at the beginning and stayed for a good 30-45 minutes and saw only fire trucks! The parade was still going after we were finished with the fair. We'll know for next year to come to the parade later in the day. Who knew it was an all day parade!!! We got a few tickets and let the kids do a few things. It was pretty fun.
This is the part I can't remember... did we get together to BBQ later that day? Did we do anything? I really can't remember because there are no photos. REALLY, that was 2 months ago! I'll ask Matt. I wonder if he remembers! Pathetic!
FF to today. I do remember this! I watched Ashley's baby (from the studio). She is a dollface, 6 months I think. I am watching her tomorrow too. I was busy, but the boys enjoyed her and she was very interested in the other little people.
The kids costumes are almost ready, still need to do G's bat ears and I may do a new costume for O, but Q and E are ready. I can't believe Halloween is already here. I really wanted to take advantage of Matt's willingness to dress up this year, but the time just went to fast and I didn't have time to search for us. Maybe next year. I need to start sooner.
We had Jolee over today. Q has been off the market as far as playdates go. A messy little problem has resulted in loss of some of her favorite things, playdates, treats and sleeping in our bed. I think we have turned a corner. Things seem to be back to normal and she has earned everything back. The kids had a great time playing pretend, like they were teenagers! It's funny to listen to them!
I took the kids to go get a movie for me because tonight I had Tara, Rachel and Megan over to veg. M travels this week, Tuesday to Friday, I thought I'd treat myself to a fun night. We watched a cheesy movie, but laughed as well. I loved it, thanks for coming friends! AND, happy M was able to condense his trip and just arrived home! Yea!
Yesterday I met Emily for a bagel in the morning. That was good times. The boys were at Toddler Time and after I went to pick them up we all visted at Melissa's for a bit.
Since M headed out of town yesterday I was able to grab a run, alone, before he left. It felt great. The weather has been so nice. I need to get back into shape, it is hard to push those boys right now and every time I do I think back to earlier this year when it seemed so easy! Ug, must work harder!
The planning comittee came over last night, because I am homebound when M is gone!!! My kids had a hard time getting to sleep, it may have been the chatting. We got some work done. BTW I have a new calling, RS teacher. I look forward to that, always much to learn when you teach.
Ok, that should be good for now. I am busy. I have many things on my plate. Nothing new there! I have felt a few waves of it being too much in this past week or two, but mostly I'm good to go. Just need to keep the priorities straight and make sure the most important things go first in line!
