I love...

that Matt hasn't been travleing as much. He's almost finished, he assures me. As much as I thought I was used to it, it really sucked to have to say goodbye to him today. I LOVE that he hasn't been traveling as much and I really LOVE that he's almost done!

That tomorrow is Thursday, rest day. No running, and since Matt is out of town, no late night dance class. And, since we did the RS activity tonight, no planning or preparing (well, I will now focus on my lesson prep for Sunday). Just rest.

Now for things I don't love...
KIDS FIGHTING.
Seriously, I expect the squabbles between O & E. I don't love them but they seem to often annoy each other, today though Q & G were awful. They are getting more physical with each other as they get older. Twice there were punching fists and scratching hands involved. WHAT the... I pulled them both by their ears like you see in the old movies... to your corners. Ridiculous. I don't even want to 'talk it out'. I'm done with this, if you want out of time out you need to sing me a primary song. Oh, they sat and cried for a bit, still mad at each other, that I wouldn't hear either of their sides, that they had to SING to come out. How dare I! Just a choice. Switch it. A song can make you feel much better. G was first and he even giggled when I busted a move to his rendition of 'Sunbeam'. Q waited until the last possible minute. I told her she would continue time out at the church if she chose. To get out you must sing. She gets so mad. I had to remind her that I don't care what she sings, how she sings it, the point of this punishment is to get rid of the yucky angry feelings that are floating through my house. She finally did it, right before we left.

I hope tomorrow is also a day of rest from sibling fights.
