CCMcAfeePhotography: Featuring LaDiDa... Easy DIYphoto backdrop ideas
Have you heard of this company? I have to be honest, I hadn't heard of them. No surprise there, I normally don't shop online for my kids.
But, I know who they are now... and I'm totally sharing!
It went a little something like this...
First: See the email... squeeeeeeeeeeeeeel with delight! Hooray!
(I love clothes, and photography, and let's be honest... it's validating as a blogger to work with a great company... squeeeeel!}
Second: Compose myself... thank heaven this contact was via email, I tend to speak gibberish until I can compose myself sometimes!
Third: Choose a couple of things to feature, care of LaDiDa. This included my cute daughter and I meshing our ideas and choosing together. At first she was like 'whatever, don't care', but found interest soon after the clothing arrived!
Fourth: Creating a couple of photo shoots to feature these items. As Q is getting older she is easier to work with - photography wise. There was a time that she would NOT do this with me... typical of a child who's mother always has a camera in her face!!
We had so much fun doing this together. I love this little girl, she is beautiful.
And, as you will soon see she is a great canvas for these beautiful clothes.
I'm not required to review the clothes, but I will tell you that both items are beautiful and very high quality. You can feel it and see it!
Here is our first item...
I'm not sure if it is available anymore.
The dress is a CdeC dress, here is the link to the French company.
This line is available exclusively for LaDiDa... see more here.
This dress was my choice. It is perfect for fall. It's plaid, the colors are deep. I was excited to get it, style it and shoot it. I styled it a couple of ways.
The actual dress is thick and soft, like wearing a cozy blanket! This makes it a great choice for fall.
Second item is the Marni Dotted Dress... which is on sale right now!
This dress is made in Italy. The tags come all certified and everything.
Wow! That was impressive for this little girl! She felt a little like a princess.
This dress was her choice, and she has fallen deeper in love with it having it in person.

I made the hair accessory for the last looks, also that little ball necklace.
You can see how to make the ball necklace HERE.
I also have some for sale HERE.
For a tutorial on how to make those cute felt flowers come on back tomorrow!
AND... can you believe how easy these last two backdrops are? I cut dots out of scrapbook paper and used a large quilt... easy-peasy... but creative!

I was inspired by
the dots on Q's dress, therefor dots as the background.
I simply cut out
patterned paper and stuck them onto the wall, paying attention to where I'd have
her stand.
Another great
backdrop option are blankets. Seriously! They aren't that expensive compared
to vinyl. You have to be careful with wrinkles and keeping things straight, but
they are good option, especially if you intend to blur your background.
