When Is The Last Time...

You saw your manly husband swing on a swing?

I got to witness this on Saturday.

Saturday night was date night.
Saturday morning we thought it would be a great idea to go cycling...by Saturday night, after a busy day, not so much!

The sun was shining, it was warm... I just wanted to be out... in the sun.

So, per my request we drove up to Lewiston and walked along the river, sat and visited in the sunshine, found a park and swung - swang - had a swing???  

What is the correct verbiage there?!

It has been a looooong time since I've seen my man on a swing!

I had to take a picture!

He was going high too!

I laughed and chuckled, then got on myself.

It felt good to go high, feel weightless for a moment, over and over again.

Then I jumped out... and swore at how bad it killed my feet!  Just kidding I don't swear :).

Guess my circulation isn't what it used to be!

 

Ahhh, sun.  Truly this is a simple thing one could absolutely take for granted if they got to see it everyday!

After checking out the B&B prices we drove up to the ledge and looked at houses.

This has been a passtime of ours.  I try not to get excited, try to temper myself, we'll still be in this house until next spring, but man I have waited a while for this!  I AM EXCITED!!!

We have said we are Northtown-ers, but I'm not completely opposed to seeing what is out there.

After our date night, I sort of want to live in Lewiston!
