Halloween On My Buffet

I have so much to share and record!  I need to take baby steps or I feel overwhelmed.

I have felt some stress with the whole 'holiday festivity' idea!

We are moved in, sure, but I still have piles of stuff here and there.  I have many projects that I want to do and changes that I want to make to our house, to make it our home.

With things not feeling how I want them to, it has felt overwhelming to get out my fall decor, then Halloween decor.

Seriously I have made some big messes, just getting everything out of the totes to lay it all out on the floor.

When you live in the same house for so many years you just know where everything goes.

Not only do I need to establish where things go in this house, it is a lot more house than I had before, so my little pumpkins don't make the same statement they did before! :)

I started here at my buffet, which is a project that I completed and haven't shared yet.  But, I will!  I looooove how it turned out.  Remember what it looked like before?  It was in my dining room before, awaiting it's transformation...

I get sidetracked sorry!

I started here because it is small!

It still took me time, some trips to the store, but finishing it gave me the momentum to get our home all festive for this month.

I purchased new tree branches, potion bottles and table runner for the buffet.

The pumpkins and skulls were used in my family room at the old house, on the

mantle

.

I bought these cool plastic garlands at Target, on clearance for $3.

 I got the printable from

Eighteen25

.

And there it is!

Come back tomorrow and I'll show you our living room mantle!

I'm super proud of it!
