Striking A Balance... The Silver Skirt

That title seems fitting.

As I get back to blogging I have been thinking about my WIW posts.

I had a post written, had made a new button, was going to start a new series... but... I've rethought it.

When my Lenni was out here she told me I should post a photo everyday of what I'm wearing, because after being in my closet she was convinced I could go a whole year and never wear the same thing twice.

I probably could.  I mostly do!  I try not to repeat things, but wear all of my things in a new way every time.  I like to be creative and stylish that way.

So, I was taking photos over the last bit, even though I wasn't posting.

My 365 challenge, that's the direction I was going.

The fact that I thought about it for two months and didn't post a single time tells me that instead of posting what I wear every day, maybe just once a week will do!

Instead of posting a bunch of different looks, maybe just my favorite of the week will do.

Quality instead of quantity.

Still looking for the balance, still making sure there is purpose.  Aren't I always?

This is my look for the week.

Do you shop at Khols?  I'm not in there too often, but was so glad I stopped by when I did.

I think I went in for jewelry but buzzed through the clearance section, which overwhelms me at times.

This fabulous silver pencil skirt grabbed my attention.  How could it not, all shimmery and pretty?

It's a Jennifer Lopez creation... and there are still some available!

I hesitated to grab it, because it's a pretty loud skirt, but when I saw it was $5, all question left!

I can totally try this for $5

I paired this skirt with a neon yellow sweatshirt, to tone down how fancy it is!

Also, the lace and general texture of the sweatshirt was soft, and nice against the metallic of the skirt.

I love this look!  I'm so glad I grabbed this skirt!  It is modern, sassy, unique.  It is a great addition.  It will be fun to continue to find ways to wear it.

PS, this post is in no way sponsored!  Just me, telling you, you should find yourself a silver skirt!
