Happy blog-aversary
I just had my third year blog-aversary.
I love blogging.
It was fun to go back through some old posts.
I am so glad I'm keeping this record.
I must say I am far more impressed with my writing skills from back then! I had some interesting posts!
I want to be more thoughtful, even if sporadically, and put more effort into the thoughts I'm having and the records I'm keeping.
What a great weekend this has been.
The girls and I (Tara, Kari & Molly) went up to Toronto for "Time out for Women" hosted by Deseret Book.
It was fabulously uplifting for all of us and a load of laughs in between.
After the conference was over we went shopping and out to dinner in the city.
I still am in love with Toronto. It is one of my favorite cities.
I didn't take ANY photos... crazy!
The funniest moment of our trip was while we were out to dinner on Saturday. Kari offered to pay for Molly's dinner if she could get our waiters phone number. Well Molly is 7 months pregnant, none of us thought she would even try, but we were wrong!!! Since he was obviously uncomfortable... evidence in the sudden lack of service... we told him we were kidding and Molly showed him her belly! His eyes about popped out of his head! We loved it and took a picture with cute little Raymond!
I am so stinking tired! I didn't have to get up with Owen, I left him at home, but I went to bed so late and got up so early! It was well worth it.
I am thankful for good girlfriends. Girls I can laugh with, who will put their arms around me when I cry, who get me and my sometimes inappropriate humor and behavior, girls I can share my opinion with and who appreciate me. I am blessed.
And, a special thanks to Matt for being such a great dad. I have all of the confidence in him. I don't worry at all when I leave the kids with him. He really is so great with all of them. That isn't to say I don't miss them. I was so happy coming home last night and having my children so happy to see me. It's good to be gone for a day, to remember what we all share together.
I have been feeling the need to dance. Just this past week I went to the studio early so I could just crank the music and dance. Summer is coming and I'm sure there will be workshops to do but I just want to dance and am not ready for a break yet. The concert is this month and I am so excited for the pieces I created. I am proud of them and can't wait to see them on stage.
Q is almost finished with school. Friday she had a pajama party and loved wearing pajamas to school. She kept telling me the night before... and remember mom to not get my clothes on tomorrow, I just get to wear my pj's. She also got to wear her hair down which was equally exciting!
G got into the UPK program. We are excited. He is excited. This next year is a big one for all of us!
