I love...
Being so busy I can't blog!!!
Saturday I LOVED trying something new. I got up early and my cute friend Melissa took me out cross country skiing! Loved it! There are so many places to go around here. I can see myself getting into this. The only part I didn't love were my fingers turning into ice sticks. I need to better equip myself. This was my first time ever in any type of ski. I loved the gliding, the turning was challenging, as was the stopping! I want to get better. Like I said, I could see myself getting into this.
I was also loving social time and festiveness on Saturday. The Shumway's had a Chinese New Year party and they did a great job hosting! We had a great time getting to know new friends better and enjoyed the GREAT food!
Before I loved kitchen time yesterday, and really I did love it, I LOVED hearing what I needed to hear both at church then from my husband. At church the words were, "search inward, reach outward, look heavenward". All of the words Matt said reaffirmed and supported what I feel. He helped me remember to live with integrity, I'm really not happy unless I do. There is a quote on my craft room wall that says "There can be no happiness if the things we believe are different from the things we do." Be true.
Yesterday I LOVEd being in the kitchen getting ready for the superbowl festivities. We went to the Christensen's to eat and watch the game. I made the most delicious meatball subs ever, seriously melt in your mouth. I got the recipe from my girl Marci.
I also brought veggies, fruit, and cookies. Have you had the sour cream sugar cookies? They are my absolute favorite! They taste so good, well maybe it's the cream cheese frosting I love so much, and they hold their cut out shape so well. I did some footballs and helmets for the superbowl.
