Today...
Matt stayed home from work today, his eyes look a little funky, maybe pink eye? Ewe!
BUT, that meant he could stay home w/ E while I went out to run errands... after I dropped O off at preschool.
That is right, today he started his new preschool program at Clearfield Community Center. Two times a week. I decided to opt out of home preschool for E for the rest of the year.
O was very excited to go, even w/o really knowing what was in store. He walked right in and acted like he knew what was going on! He met his teacher with a bright smile on his face. I'm proud of him.
My errands included Target for returns, and a quick browse for inspiration, upcoming shoot on Saturday. Marshalls, also to look for any new goodies for my baby shoot this weekend. Found nothing for that, but a few things for myself, oh how I love to shop... should've not gone in!
Michaels, said shoot.
Payless for another return.
Picked up my little man, and Tyce, dropped him off, it will be nice to carpool w/ Molly.
Then, little O and I went to grocery shop, which is much different w/ just one little helper. We had a good time together and O was actually very helpful! It is amazing how much energy those two give each other when together, not always for my benefit!
I started painting my family room today, bought my paint last night after dance.
Was initially going to just go w/ a lighter brown, but on a whim went w/ a very pale blue color. I want to brighten up that space, it will feel more contemporary and airy... is my hope!
I started painting and wasn't quite sure. The thing I now love about that room are the beams that run across the ceiling. They were that ugly 70's brown when we first moved here. I loved them immediately after the paint job! I have enjoyed the drastic contrast of the brown and white. There won't be as great a contrast w/ the color I've chosen and I've had to step back and evaluate. I started on the wall w/ my white bookcases to see how I feel. I've only done one coat, now it is dry.
I think I will finish. It's different, but it's what I am going for. There is enough contrast that it looks different than white, but light enough still that the whole room looks white-ish. We'll go w/ it, I'll decorate and if I hate it I'll paint again in a month!!!
Fed the sister missionaries tonight. Q helped me put a few things back up in our house. She loves to decorate. E has some nasty barking cough, not all of the time, just when he is sleeping. He woke up w/ it last night and again while napping.
G and M spent a ton of time today playing the Wii. They are both intense in trying to get past this certain board. I could hear them both, whenever someone spoke to them, hurry, pause it, pause it. G definitely had more free time on that today than he normally does!!!
