Crossing the Incontinence Line...
Can we talk about this for a moment?
I know I am way behind on my blogging, it's been a while since I've checked in, but this deserves a post!
C'mon...
I sat to watch TV with Matt last night during the Emmy's and we watched the Subway commercial... we were laughing and laughing. Did you see it? The Avocado commercial? Where the two women are 1 upping each other on their love for avocado? It was great! "Ava'car'do"... "Have you met my baby... Avocado?" Loved it! Totally funny!
It was then M went back to show me another commercial.
We started watching it... nice lady... talking about her urinary problem (Sheryl Underwood).
Poor thing, yep, it sucks when our bodies don't work right... Right? Right.
I'm totally all about you being able to kick box and run on the treadmill, and feeling totally confident that it's ok if you pee a little when you laugh really hard!
Yes, hooray for the lady pull up, being sleek and slim, so only part of America knows what you are wearing 'under there'.
I did ok with the commercial. I was a little embarrassed for her, but not much...
Then we crossed over the incontinence line.
That line appeared, then jumped over, when this lady...
wrapped in her fur...
and sporting her black camisole/corset....
made bedroom eyes at me and then revealed her lady diaper...
Woa! What? Did that really happen? Reeeeewind!
We've all got issues, let's be honest! And I'm not saying all of them are pretty, again with the honesty...
BUT, really?
Are we going there, with the big bulky white thing, revealed from behind your big black coat, like some sort of strip tease? I didn't want to see that!
I don't want to see the VS ladies showing off their cute lacy panties either, but at least I know that is coming, and am prepared to FF the whole thing!
I got all tricked into thinking this was an incontinence commercial, then it showed me the reality of the lady diaper!!! And they aren't cute! I don't want to see that!!!
Don't show me that!
If you feel confident in those things, great! I am glad you feel confident and empowered.
I'm not so sure they fully cross over into intimate apparel...
Actually, I'm quite sure after what I saw, they don't.
But... I did create a Ryan Gosling meme just to savor that awkward moment on TV.
