Packing Up Yet Again
Oh heavens, this fabulous vacation is almost over.
Let's be honest, like most vacations there is so much work involved. I am exhausted and I am ready to go home!
I want my bed, my own kitchen and food, my own schedule, our rules, our chores. I want my kids to put their laundry away in their own drawers, I want to put suit cases away! I am all done!
I have savored every last moment, but I am excited to go home.
I don't know if it's being away from my usual distractions, or seeing how others live, or how we live on vacation, but I always go back home feeling like I want a new start.
Over the next few days, tomorrow, while I'm on the plane for hours, I want to make goals for myself, for my family. I want to eliminate some things, do better at others and add new things all together.
I'll share as I get them all clarified in my own mind.
One goal I have is to sit down and type all about our summer here in UT, I did awful with that this year! I want to print off a book for us that includes all of our photos. I actually would love to go back and do this for all of our vacations, but I'll start small!
I hope to also inject projects that I did before summer vacation, that I still haven't shared, so upon my return to life, and blogging, you'll get a mix of both!
It has been a great summer break!
